The AGAPE Wedding Ministry’s mission is to assist and guide couples through church procedure for the sacrament of marriage in accordance with Orthodox tradition. The committee attends the rehearsal and the actual day of the wedding to instruct the bridal party and the attending guests on the protocol of the church. Their prime function is to attend to the bride and groom to assure them that their wedding day will be a time to remember with much joy and happiness.
It is the committee’s pleasure to volunteer our time for such a meaningful and joyful sacrament. Since moving our church to its new location, we have assisted in 50 weddings, and by the end of 2018 there will be a total of 55 weddings.
