The Pitsirikia dance group is our youngest dance troupe.  This group is a great way to introduce your child to the world of Greek dance.  Here we pride ourselves on helping our littles learn the basics of Greek dancing from various regions, all while having fun and perpetuating our rich Greek heritage.

Ages: 4 – 7 (must be 4 by January 1, 2025)
Dance year runs from:  September 29 through the weekend of the festival.
Class Time:  Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm

Jacquelyn Marousis-Bush began dancing with Mrs. Eleni Chakalos when she was 4 years old.  At the age of 8 she became a Junior Member of the Hellenic Dancers of New Jersey, and then was one of the youngest members invited to join at the age of 12.  Later she became an Assistant Director for many years.  She is a current member of the Hellenic Dancers of New Jersey and also serves as Board Member.  Jacquelyn has traveled all over the United States where she has Greek danced for many dignitaries, celebrities, and people alike.  She also has attended several dance workshops.  Her motto is “To live is to dance, to dance is to live!”
