St. George Capital Campaign - April 2011

 

 

A truly amazing sight! For anyone from our St. George Church community not involved with the construction of our new Church complex on a daily basis, the above photograph taken in early March has to send shivers down your spine. After 25 years of dreaming, hoping, plan­ning and fundraising, our progress is nothing short of miraculous!

As we have said many times over the last few years, we need the help of every member of our community to successfully complete this project by the end of this year. There is no time to wait. This final year of construction will be very expensive and cannot be completed without the fulfillment of your existing pledges and your generous collective contribution of another $1,000,000. We are so close, yet so far away from our goal if we cannot raise the necessary funds now, when they are so desperately needed.

With the weather finally improving, we would like to invite our entire St. George Greek Ortho­dox Church community to "Come and See" firsthand what pictures cannot do justice to. On Sunday May 7th, 2011, our St. George AHEPA will be hosting their Annual Lamb Roast at our new Church facilities! A very special "first" not to be missed. Please mark your calendar and make sure you do not miss this historic event.
