"I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,

for apart from me, you can do nothing."

John 5:5

As Christ tells us in the Gospel of John, we grow in faith, being nourished in Holy Communion by Christ the Vine as his branches. We stay attached to Christ the Vine to bear fruit and then sprout forth as branches. What do we do as branches bearing fruit?

We spread Christ's very Essence: Love, Christian Love, AGAPE

Our AGAPE Ministries do just that. AGAPE is LOVE in ACTION. We welcome newcomers into our St. George Community and we encourage each other through AGAPE and the blessings the Orthodox Church offers. Each group is very active in its own quiet way. Simple acts of kindness are the basis for all our deeds. You may see us assisting a 40 day blessing, a baptism or wedding, meeting new families, praying for others, comforting those who have lost loved ones.
